Wrong aid

A heartless thief stole $1,500 from a senior citizen acquaintance on July 7 after tricking him into thinking that she would help him run errands.

The trusting 92-year-old man told cops that he let the shady lady into his Seventh Street home between Fifth and Sixth avenues at around 11 am. Then the self-declared aide, who lives on Seventh Avenue, stealthily swiped the cash and blank checks from the old man’s wallet.
