A cab driver lost control on the Upper East Side striking a pedestrian, a tree and another taxi cab, authorities said.

The victim was crossing the street at Lexington Avenue and East 61st Street at 12:15 p.m. when the cab zipped around a double parked FedEx truck and crashed into the man, witnesses and FDNY said.

“The cab hit him pinned him against the van ran over his leg and then [he] fell to the ground and the cab veered and crashed into the tree and the truck over there,” said witness Fabio Scoditti.

The cab then careened into a tree before rear-ending another taxi, witnesses said.

The victim was taken to New York Hospital with a badly injured leg, the FDNY said.

“I was double parked,” said the FedEx driver Richard Florencio. “He was speeding and he thought he had an open lane going through.”
