An out-of-control pickup truck careened into a Long Island home early Thursday — smashing through a room where a 13-year-old boy was sleeping, according to cops and reports.
The Chevy Silverado — which was allegedly driven by illegal immigrant Blas Flores-Velasquez — crashed into the Cypress Lane home in Westbury, Nassau County, just before 1 a.m., authorities said.
The driver mowed through several rooms of the home — including the teen’s bedroom — where it ended up inches away from his bed, WABC reported. It continued through a fence and finally stopped in a neighbor’s yard, according to the report.
After the crash, Flores-Velasquez ran off and was eventually found hiding in a wooded area near the Wantagh Parkway, cops said.
