Fifteen passengers were injured when a city bus crashed Thursday morning in Brooklyn, officials said.

The bus was traveling through the intersection at Avenue D and East 40th Street when it collided with another vehicle around 6:30 a.m.

Thirteen of the passengers suffered minor injuries while two others suffered more serious but non-life-threatening injuries.

Several people were taken to Brookdale University Hospital for treatment.

The cause of the accident is still under investigation.

No arrests have been made at this time, police said.
