The Port Authority yesterday sweetened the Ground Zero settlement offer by $47.5 million — which some first-responders quickly called a joke.

The agency added the cash to a pending $712.5 million offer from the city to 10,000-plus recovery workers sickened by toxic dust from 9/11.

Manhattan federal Judge Alvin Hellerstein said payouts would be based on “injury categories and severities.”
