Pace kin will sue
The Massachusetts family of a Pace University football player killed by police has begun the process of suing the Westchester County suburbs whose officers were involved in the shooting.
Family lawyer Michael Sussman said yesterday he has filed notice of a $120 million claim against the town of Mount Pleasant and the village of Pleasantville.
Municipal officials did not return phone calls.
Danroy Henry, from Easton, Mass., was killed Oct. 17 after police were called to a disturbance that spilled out of a bar in Thornwood.
The 20-year-old was shot through the windshield of his car as he drove away.
Witness accounts of the shooting have differed sharply, and a grand jury is investigating.
