A Long Island physician is due to be arraigned on federal charges of illegally prescribing painkillers and other drugs.
A spokesman for the US Attorney’s Office confirmed that Dr. Frank Telang of Port Jefferson Station was arrested early yesterday for allegedly selling the prescriptions.
