A workman was accidentally killed trying to jump start a van in Queens yesterday, cops said.

Martin Romero, 43, of Brooklyn was pinned under a Ford van when the driver pushed the gas pedal about 5:20 p.m. in the lot on Shore Front Parkway near Rockaway Park, police said.

EMS rushed him to St. John’s Hospital, where he died.

No criminality is suspected.
