Two burglars swiped thousands of dollars in lottery scratch-off tickets from stores in Queens and Brooklyn, authorities said yesterday. But they didn’t get much for their trouble.
David Arroyo, of North Babylon, LI, and Diego Ercoli, of Corona, Queens, cashed in some of the more than 1,000 tickets they allegedly stole after breaking into three delicatessens, a live-poultry shop, two 99-cent stores and a day-care center between December and March — but won very little, authorities said.
“Nothing significant — it wasn’t thousands,” a source said of the pair’s ticket winnings.
