A codefendant of convicted ex-Gov. Cuomo aide Joe Percoco was sentenced to 14 months in prison on Tuesday for his involvement in a corruption scheme.

Energy company exec Peter Galbraith Kelly Jr. pleaded guilty to conspiracy to commit wire fraud in May after a jury deadlocked on the charges he faced for allegedly paying Percoco $280,000 in bribes to help get lucrative energy deals for his company.

The bribes were paid to Percoco through a low-show job Kelly gave to Percoco’s wife Lisa at his company Competitive Power Ventures.

Before he was sentenced Kelly, 55, emotionally told the judge, “I’m deeply, deeply sorry.”

“We are here because I failed to do the right thing,” he added.

Before handing down her sentence, Manhattan Federal Judge Valerie Caproni said, “This crime tells me there is a part of [Kelly] that is willing to lie and cheat when he thought he could get away with it.

“I hope this sentence will be heard in government affairs offices everywhere. You have to play by the rules even if your lobbyist or government counterpart is urging you to cheat, you have to say no,” Caproni said in an apparent reference to government cooperator Todd Howe.

Howe — an ex-lobbyist and former Percoco pal — was the star witness at the trial and was re-arrested midway through his testimony for violating his cooperation agreement.

Howe allegedly introduced Kelly to Percoco and helped broker the pair’s illicit arrangement.

As part of his sentence Kelly must also pay $247,000 in restitution to CPV.

In September, Caproni sentenced Percoco to six years in prison after a jury convicted him on corruption charges in March.

Kelly is due to self surrender on Jan. 22.
