Despite the eyecatching comments from near-official gubernatorial hopeful Carl Paladino putting the health care legislation’s passing on par with 9/11 – and strong pushback from Manhattan Rep. Jerrold Nadler – the Buffalo developer is sticking to his guns.

“Carl Paladino tells it like it is,” said his campaign manager Michael Caputo. “His statements on the Curtis Sliwa Show this morning are not unusual; you hear comments like his around New York’s kitchen tables every day. In fact, we’ve received many calls and emails thanking Carl for his frank commentary on the dangers of Obamacare.”

He added: “Know this now: Carl is not politically correct and never has been. If you are looking for a PC candidate, vote for somebody else. And if you are offended by unvarnished truth, you better strap in tightly because you’re sure to find this governors race a wild ride.”
