Sarah Palin strutted into Long Island yesterday for a rare public address — ditching her hunting boots for Carrie Bradshaw-style leopard-print heels.

At the luncheon for the Long Island Association, a business consortium, the ex-Alaska governor praised Gov. Cuomo.

“I’m encouraged to hear about your governor, who seems to be very open to listening to . . . the private-sector job creators and not just listening to union bosses,” she said at the Wood bury event.

As for whether she plans to run for president in 2012, Palin said she hasn’t made up her mind.
