The Barnard College freshman attacked in Riverside Park has returned to her Oregon home to be with family as she recovers from her injuries, The Post has learned.
Marisa Cortright, 19, left St. Luke’s Hospital and retreated to her Salem home just prior to the NYPD releasing a video yesterday of the man investigators believe pounced on her Monday at 6 a.m. as she jogged past the West 120th Street tennis courts.
Cops think the same thug jumped Janet Blumenfeld, 48, senior director of operations for Yeshiva University, about 20 minutes later as she walked her dog near 98th Street and Riverside Drive.
At 7:30 a.m., surveillance footage near West 97th Street and Riverside Drive catches the shirtless suspect walking in red shorts.
