Park bark for Beastie Boy
It’s “No Sleep ’till Brooklyn” for a group of Beastie Boys fans who want a Brooklyn Heights park renamed for Adam “MCA” Yauch, the rap group’s co-founder, who died this month after a battle with throat cancer.
More than 1,200 fans of the Brooklyn-born Yauch have taken to Facebook to support a plan to rename tiny Squibb Park near the Brooklyn Heights Promenade Adam Yauch Park.
It will one day be attached to Brooklyn Bridge Park via a footbridge,
The 47-year-old rapper died May 4.
