A man walking his dog stumbled upon the remains of a decomposed body in a wooded area of Inwood Park yesterday.

The body of Seyed Ali Badakhshan, 78, who had been reported missing Sept. 17, was found near Dyckman Street and the Henry Hudson Parkway at 8 a.m.
