This baby just would not wait.

A woman gave birth at about 6:35 a.m. yesterday in a vehicle parked on a Garden State Parkway shoulder.

Her husband delivered the child before rescue workers could reach them in the northbound lanes of the toll road just south of the I-80 interchange.

An ambulance eventually arrived and took mother and baby to a hospital.
