Parolee in suicide leap
An ex-con who was sprung from the slammer in April plunged to his death yesterday while trying to avoid arrest for violating parole.
Kenneth Daves, 25, apparently landed head-first after climbing out a fourth-floor window at an Upper West Side homeless shelter when his parole officer knocked on the door at about 8:30 a.m.
