A man was killed early Thursday in the Bronx while riding in the passenger seat of a Taxi and Limousine Commission-registered car, police said.

Police believe the 22-year-old driver may have been under the influence when he lost control on the Bronx River Parkway near Gun Hill Road and struck a concrete wall of an exit ramp around 3 a.m.

Both men were rushed to Jacobi Medical Center, where the 25-year-old passenger died.

Charges against the driver are pending, police said.

The car had TLC license plates, but the vehicle’s classification, and whether the driver was on-duty, was unclear early Thursday, officials said.
