A male passenger in a car that crashed into two parked vehicles was killed in The Bronx this morning.

Aerial footage showed several mangled cars, including one without a roof. As many as four cars were damaged in the crash.

A gray Nissan Maxima traveling southbound on Givan Ave. near Palmer Ave. at about 5 a.m. struck the vehicles, according to police.

The driver, also male, was taken to Jacobi Hospital in critical condition, said police.

There were unconfirmed reports the vehicle that crashed into the parked cars was involved in a high-speed chase on the New England Thruway with police that began in New Rochelle. A police investigation is underway.
