An American Airlines flight aborted takeoff Tuesday after blowing two tires to shreds on the tarmac of JFK.

The flight, American Airlines 2829, was bound for Phoenix.

The 737 with 142 passengers and six crew members aboard came to a stop on the runway shortly after 1 p.m., American Airlines spokesman Andrew Tull told The Post.

Passengers were removed safely from the plane following the incident, and were being shuttled back to the terminal by bus to wait for another flight.

There were no injuries reported.

The plane has been removed from service, and will be evaluated by American Airlines before resuming service, Tull added.
