The NYPD went on a towing and ticket blitz in Williamsburg yesterday — apparently forgetting that it was still a Jewish holiday.

More than 41 cars were towed and more than 100 given summonses, even though it was Passover. Community leader Isaac Abraham said parking was scheduled to be suspended Tuesday and Wednesday for Passover, but the NYPD apparently thought the affected days were Monday and Tuesday.
