Gov. David Paterson has his second scheduled public appearance set for Monday — so far — with a planned stop at a statewide conference run by the Catholic Church.

According to a schedule from the New York Archdiocese, Paterson will meet with Archbishop Timothy Dolan at the Capitol on Monday as part of a New York State Catholic Conference Public Policy Day, a two-day event in Albany.

The governor’s office hasn’t released his schedule for any day past the late-afternoon ribbon-cutting at JFK Airport. But it’s hard to imagine he would cancel this meeting.

Dolan recently told NY1 that he would pray for Paterson, weighing in on the scandal sweeping state government.
