Patron ‘killed bouncer’
A Long Island caddy brutally choked the life out of a Southampton bar bouncer last year after he was asked to stop dancing on a table, prosecutors said yesterday.
Anthony Oddone, 26, of Farmingville, faces a second-degree murder rap for the death of moonlighting Suffolk County correction officer Andrew Reister during a confrontation at the Publick House bar in August 2008.
Prosecutor Denise Merrifield said Oddone, a then-college senior who caddied at The Bridge golf course in Bridgehampton, gripped Reister’s neck so hard that bones in his neck snapped.
