The police officers’ union is launching a series of attack ads against the NYPD to blast a program that sends teams of Internal Affairs investigators to traffic court to spy on officers.
The print ads accuse top brass of docking pay and vacation days from officers who lose in traffic court.
NYPD Spokesman Paul Browne said, “Contrary to critics, officers are [not] punished for purportedly ‘losing’ traffic court cases.”
