The body of 47-year-old Abu Ghanan Khalid was discovered in Prospect Park Lake on Wednesday afternoon, police said.

Two girls who rented a pedal boat for a spin around the lake spotted Khalid’s body near West Drive and Park Circle at about 5:30 p.m., according to cops.

The boaters called 911 and police came and removed the body.

Khalid lived about 10 blocks south of where his body was found on Westminster Road, police said.

His body did not have visible injuries or trauma.

The investigation into his death is ongoing, police said.
