A man was killed trying to cross a busy Bronx highway Friday morning when two cars struck him before both drivers fled the scene, authorities said.
Bobby Cuwer, 67, of Bryant Avenue, The Bronx, was trying to run across the southbound lanes of the Major Deegan Expressway near 233rd Street when he was struck by a car around 4:20 a.m., cops said.
A second car then plowed into the injured man, leaving him barely alive in the center lane. Both drivers fled the scene.
