A hotheaded pedestrian who thought a motorist making a U-turn came a little too close for comfort pulled a gun and shot the driver Saturday morning in Brooklyn, police sources said.

The 32-year-old victim was looking for a parking spot along Gates Avenue near Bedford Avenue in Bedford-Stuyvesant at about 1:45 a.m. when he executed the U-turn.

Two men crossing the street were spooked by how close the car came to hitting them and got into a shouting match with the driver, sources said.

As the exchange reached its tipping point, one of the pedestrians pulled a gun and fired at the car, nailing the motorist in his thigh and lower leg, the sources added.

He’s listed in stable condition at Methodist Hospital in Brooklyn.

The gunman and his pal were still on the run as of late Saturday.
