A pedestrian is fighting for his life after being struck by a car last night while illegally crossing the FDR Drive in Manhattan, police said.
The 36-year-old victim was trying to get across the roadway near East 25th Street around 10:45 p.m. when he was hit by a 2006 Nissan traveling southbound, police added.
He was rushed to Bellevue Hospital and is listed in critical condition.
The 65-year-old driver of the Nissan remained on the scene and was not charged, police said.
