Two separate car accidents, including a hit-and-run, in the same South Bronx neighborhood on Saturday left two pedestrians injured – one critically.
About 4:15 p.m. an unidentified man was struck near E. 155th Street and Union Avenue by a black Ford Taurus that kept driving, cops said.
Paramedics rushed him to Jacobi hospital in critical condition.

Less than two hours later and one block away at E. 155th Street and Prospect Avenue, a woman was injured after being struck by black Chevrolet SUV, according to officials and witnesses.
This driver remained on the scene, but ended up in a heated scuffle with the victim’s male companion, witnesses said.
No arrests have been made in either incident.
