Embattled state Senate Majority Leader Pedro Espada yesterday dismissed critics within the Democratic Party and a priest he’s been feuding with, saying God is on his side.

At a press conference, Espada shouted he is a God-fearing Christian who plans to seek re-election and will never leave the Democratic Party.

“God is in me,” he said. “God speaks to us and protects us.”

A Bronx priest charges Espada is giving away food outside a church to promote his re-election campaign.
