All New Jersey-bound Amtrak and NJ Transit trains were briefly stuck at Penn Station on Wednesday afternoon because of power outages and signal issues, railroad officials said.
The outage happened at about 4:15 p.m., just as many commuters were trying to get home for the evening.
NJ Transit buses are also suspended as of 4:30 p.m. because of the winter storm, leaving many people with no way to get out of New York City.
Crews cleared up the outage just before 5 p.m.
