Yankee icon Don Larsen has a perfect plan for some old pinstripes in his closet.

The hurler hopes to score $1 million for his grandsons’ education by auctioning the uniform he wore 56 years ago yesterday — when he threw baseball’s only World Series perfect game, against the Brooklyn Dodgers.

“What am I going to do with it? I don’t want to be dead when it’s up for sale,” said Larsen, visiting his old friend and batterymate, Yogi Berra, at the Yogi Berra Museum & Learning Center in Montclair, NJ.

“I’ve been thinking about it. I’m not getting any younger and I want to see my [two] grandkids graduate from college — and maybe there’ll be something left over,” added the 83-year-old Larsen.

The auction is set to begin Thursday and end Dec. 5.

“The gravity of something like this is one of a kind. There will never be another,” said Stephen Costello, executive vice president of auctioneers Steiner Sports.
