A mechanic is dead after he was crushed by a car that fell from a lift in a parking lot, police said Saturday.

The unidentified victim, 46, was working on a vehicle lift in a parking lot at 409 E. 110th St. in East Harlem around noon when the car unexpectedly fell –– pinning him underneath it, police said.

The man was taken to Harlem Hospital, where he died, police said.

The victim works for a company called Edison ParkFast, a private parking-lot company with has locations in New Jersey, New York City and Baltimore, according to its website.

The company did not immediately respond for comment.
