A person was declared dead after they were found hanging from the side of a building in Queens on Saturday night.

Police said they received a call about a person receiving aid at 62-26 108th St. in Forest Hills around 8:50 p.m. The person was pronounced deceased, cops confirmed.

Photos and video from the macabre scene show a person’s lifeless body hanging by the neck from what appears to be the ninth floor of an apartment building.

The Post has reached out to FDNY for additional information on the incident.

The grisly sight alarmed neighbors and witnesses.

“I saw a body hanging. He was hanging from the roof. He was hanging from the top,” said a resident of the building, who didn’t want to give her name.

“It’s crazy,” she added.

Another witness, William, said he was visiting his girlfriend who lives at a building across the way when he saw the body.

“He must have jumped from a floor above because he was right on the 9th floor dangling. They brought him through the 9th floor apartment,” he told The Post.

“The body was hanging. He was dangling so he must have jumped up from a couple floors above. You see the rope above the 9th floor.”
