A man was fatally struck by a train at an Upper East Side station early Monday, officials said.

The unidentified man was in the tunnel near the 96th Street/Lexington Avenue station around 6:15 a.m. when he was struck by a northbound 4 or 5 train around 6:15 a.m., according to police.

The victim was pronounced dead at the scene, authorities said.

There was no apparent criminality, according to police.
