A person was fatally struck by a train and found in the tunnel between two L line stations on Tuesday afternoon, MTA officials said.

MTA workers noticed the person dead in the northbound tunnel near the Wilson Avenue station in Brooklyn at about 2:24 pm, agency officials said.

Authorities are trying to figure out whether the person was walking in the tunnel when they were struck or if they fell from between two train cars and onto the tracks, said a MTA spokeswoman.
