The nude body of man was found beaten and stabbed to death inside a room at the posh InterContinental New York Times Square hotel tonight, police sources said.

The 65-year-old man was found at 7 p.m. in a 34th floor room at the hotel on West 44th Street, which has been filled with cops all evening since the gruesome find..

Police apprehended Renato Seabra, a person of interest, shortly before 2:30 a.m.

The victim had checked into the InterContinental on Dec. 29, 2010, with a male companion and was scheduled to check out today, sources said.
