A former hospital worker on the run for several years for allegedly groping a 9-year-old girl and trying to lure her and her friends into his car was returned to New York last night to face the charges.
Peter Belegrinos, 30, was remanded by Queens Supreme Court Justice Gregory Lasak yesterday over 2005 charges of attempted kidnapping, sexual abuse, assault and endangering the welfare of a child.
Belegrinos was found in the Netherlands in 2011 — six years after he jumped bail. He was brought back by US Marshals Thursday night.
