“American Idol” Season 11 winner Phillip Phillips cut ties with his management company, and now the firm is suing over the $2 million loss.
Phillips, like the rest of the show’s finalists, signed with in-house managers 19 Entertainment shortly before his 2012 win.
Then after two years — and more than $10 million in earnings — the singer fired his management company, which is suing his new handlers, Michael McDonald and Mick Management, in Manhattan Supreme Court.
