He picked the wrong target.
A career criminal was busted beneath Grand Central Station yesterday after he allegedly swiped an iPhone from a plainclothes cop.
Raymond Rodriguez, 47, was on the No. 4 train subway platform at 3:15 p.m. when he spotted the phone in the decoy’s backpack, law-enforcement sources said.
Rodriguez, who came in with more than 25 priors, allegedly grabbed the cell and was soon on his way to one, charged with grand larceny and criminal possession of stolen property.
With 10 similar collars since April, the MTA recently began planting more decoy cops throughout the system.
