A New Rochelle wedding photographer claims in a federal lawsuit that he was assaulted and falsely arrested by NYPD officers in retaliation for filming them.
The suit alleges that on Feb. 15, 2014, Shawn Thomas, 48, attempted to film an arrest by Officer Efrain Rojas, but the cop smashed his face into the pavement.
“[The] defendants’ unlawful actions were done willfully,” court papers state.
