Two men were beaten up in Times Square when they tried to stop a trio of pickpockets early Sunday, police said.

The victims, 24 and 44, were near the corner of Seventh Ave. and W. 46th St. when the three thieves accosted them around 1 a.m.

One of the suspects stealthily tried to steal the younger man’s wallet from his pants, but ended up catching the victim’s attention.

When the two men confronted the thieves, they were beaten up. They were not seriously injured.

One of the suspects was arrested a short time later, cops said. Charges against him are pending.

His accomplices are still being sought by police.
