Two sisters rescued from Long Island’s “House of Horrors” four years ago are claiming that social workers and police failed to investigate the putrid facility despite constant complaints, a lawsuit says.
The girls, now 19 and 17 and not publicly identified, say authorities were notified by their father, Ray Young Jr., that the home was filled with human waste and garbage — but that officials never went inside, according to papers filed in Suffolk County Supreme Court.
Deborah Young, 52, the oddball mother who created the disgusting mess, was charged in 2007 with neglect.
