A small plane crashed off Long Island Thursday, killing the pilot, police said.
The single-engine aircraft went down in Three Mile Harbor near Springy Banks Road in East Hampton Township, according to cops.
The pilot, whose identify was not released, died at the scene, police said.
The pilot died at the scene. StoryfulOfficials with the Federal Aviation Administration and National Transportation Safety Board were investigating.
