The pilot who made a bizarre landing in the surf of a Queens beach has been taken from his family’s home in an ambulance.

Fox 5 News has an exclusive photo of Jason Maloney being brought out of the home on a stretcher Wednesday afternoon.

His father told Fox 5’s Brian Andrews that the family had called the ambulance for him. It is unclear why he needed to be taken to the hospital but Cornwall police called it a medical emergency.

Andrews says Maloney looked dazed and was not wearing shoes. He was trying to cover himself from the camera with a blue jacket.

Maloney was taken to St Luke’s hospital.
