Two men have been hospitalized after their small plane crashed yesterday in a cornfield in the Hamptons, Long Island cops said.

Their names were withheld pending family notification.

The accident occurred shortly after 10 a.m. in the village of Sagaponac.

The two were reported in critical condition at Stony Brook University Hospital.

The state police and Federal Aviation Administration were assisting with the investigation.
