City Councilman Ydanis Rodriguez yesterday denied allegations he assaulted a female council staffer.

Rodriguez (D-Manhattan) said he had nothing but “conversations” with his staff during the frenzied final days of budget negotiations last week.

“I had many conversations last week . . . most of them related to the budget and related to why the funding was cut” for some of his programs, he said. He also said he expressed disappointment to several staffers for not being consulted on school cuts.

The Standards and Ethics Committee is investigating.
