City Councilman Ydanis Rodriguez was found guilty of poking a staffer in the chest, in a unanimous ruling yesterday by the Council’s Ethics Committee.
It recommended that the full council strip the Washington Heights Democrat of his post as chairman of the Higher Education Committee until he completes an employee-relations course.
Rodriguez denied any wrongdoing, accused the committee of acting without solid evidence, and declined to say if he would abide by the findings.
