The NYPD has launched an investigation into the death of the Brooklyn man who was struck by a police car after officers spotted him stealing paving stones, authorities said.
Tamar Robinson, 27, was hit by a marked 69th Precinct car at about 5:30 a.m. on April 12 as he fled from cops at the Bayview Houses in Canarsie.
