A dead man was found floating in the East River Saturday afternoon, police said.

Cops spotted the unidentified man, believed to be in his 50s, at Catherine Slip near Market Street at around 1 p.m, and the NYPD’s Harbor Unit retrieved the corpse.

The city Medical Examiner’s office will determine the man’s cause of death.
